Paul Liknaitzky

Dr Paul Liknaitzky, the Head of Clinical Psychedelic Research at Monash University, examines the mechanisms of mental illness and how to treat them. He is an investigator in several (of the first) psychedelic trials being conducted in Australia.

Paul is a Research Fellow and Principal Investigator for several of Australia’s first clinical psychedelic trials. He founded Australia’s first clinical psychedelic lab, led Australia’s largest clinical psychedelic trial and established the country’s first applied therapist training programs, and obtained the country’s first industry funding and partnership for psychedelics. As an expert in psychedelic science and medicine, he collaborates widely in Australia and with international experts.
