The IPI Online Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training is a year-long program designed for therapists, physicians, nurses, and other allied mental healthcare professionals who want to expand their skill set in psychedelic-assisted therapy. The program, which runs from July 2023 to May 2024, is taught by more than 30 experts (including Robin Carhart-Harris, Michael Pollan, and Rick Doblin) in providing psychedelic-assisted therapy and research.
It covers evidence-based treatment protocols for conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety, as well as the unique therapeutic processes and ethical considerations involved in psychedelic therapy. The program also includes an optional in-person ketamine experiential retreat (at $1000 extra cost), which allows participants to be eligible for certification as a Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider. The program is 250 hours in total and qualifies for Continuing Education Credits. To apply, candidates must have an advanced degree in either medicine or mental health.
