This interventional feasibility study (n=32) will evaluate the impact of oral psilocybin (10mg) combined with a 12-week group-based programme tailored for firefighters.
Conducted by Empower Research Inc. and the Centre for Neurology Studies in Canada, this study aims to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of integrating psilocybin into a mental health programme designed for first responders. The programme includes weekly sessions on topics such as breathwork, mindfulness, and self-compassion, with Group 1 receiving the standard programme and Group 2 receiving psilocybin in Week 10.
