Postgraduate Certificate in Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy

The Fluence Postgraduate Certificate in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (PC-KAP) is a program designed for licensed therapists to learn the fundamentals of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

The program covers a wide range of topics, including how to conceptualize the use of ketamine in therapy, facilitate patient decision-making, and support psychological and emotional preparation for ketamine experiences. Social justice implications, ethics of non-ordinary states of consciousness (NOSC) work in therapy, and integration of NOSC experiences into meaningful change are also explored.

The program comprises 150 hours of classroom and training time, with opportunities for experiential practice and individual mentoring. It is open to licensed psychotherapists, physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals. The program is evaluated through assessments and interviews, and acceptance is contingent upon the successful completion of the interview and assessment.

Several other Fluence courses are part of the curriculum, including: Understanding Ketamine, KAP Theory and Methodology, and Access and Inclusion in Psychedelic Treatment Webinar Series.
