University of Wisconsin-Madison

The Transdisciplinary Center for Research in Psychoactive Substances (TCRPS) was launched at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2021. TCRPS is a research centre for the science, history, and cultural impact of psychedelic agents and studying the potential therapeutic use of psychoactive substances to change lives and improve patient health.

Direct by Professor of Pharmacy, Paul Huston, the centre is expanding on the scope and reach of the psychedelic research enterprise at UW–Madison and building on clinical studies that have been active on campus since 2014. Researchers at the centre are working with the Usona Insitute and are interested in establishing relationships with commercial entities that would benefit from various screening tests or early-stage clinical trials.
