University of Saskatchewan

The University of Saskatchewan is a research-intensive, medical doctoral university in Canada. Psychedelic research at USask dates back to the 1950s. The university is where Abram Hoffer and Humphrey Osmond conducted their experiments with LSD during the first era of psychedelic research.

Today psychedelic research is taking place at the university albeit on a smaller scale. Researchers at USask have previously explored the effects of ketamine in patients with depression.
