Research with psychedelics is underway at the University of Nebraska. At the UN Medical Centre, Associate Professor of Palliative Care Lou Lukas is using psychedelics to improve the quality of life of people in palliative care.
The Heartland Palliadelic Research Centre was established by medical professionals affiliated with the University of Nebraska in order to further explore the use of psychedelics in palliative care.
Dr. Lukas is leading an upcoming trial with psilocybin in this patient group.
