uniMIND Symposium: Metamorphosis in psychedelic science

The uniMIND Symposium 2025: Metamorphosis in psychedelic science, scheduled for April 26, 2025, at Charles University Prague, represents a significant gathering of early career researchers, clinicians, and experts in psychedelic science. The event, organised in collaboration with the National Institute of Mental Health in Czechia, aims to explore psychedelic substances’ transformative potential, challenges, and scientific applications.

The symposium features a comprehensive program including six presentations from emerging researchers, four keynote speeches by senior scientists, and an innovative Problem-Based Learning phase. A highlight of the event will be the exclusive screening of “Doctor on a Trip,” a documentary film premiering just one month after its Czech release. The venue, housed in the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague’s historic centre, provides an ideal setting for academic discourse and networking.

Following the main symposium, attendees can participate in a two-day workshop at the National Institute of Mental Health’s Psychedelic Research Center. The event’s theme, “Metamorphosis,” reflects both the transformative nature of psychedelics and the evolving landscape of psychedelic research, addressing regulatory challenges, public perception, and therapeutic applications.
