Acute Subjective and Behavioral Effects of Microdoses of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide in Healthy Human VolunteersThis double-blind, placebo-controlled, within-subject study (n=20) found that a microdose of LSD (up to 26μg; 3x) elicited dose-dependent subjective effects during the 'peak' of the experience but not at the follow-up (48 hours).
Preliminary report on the effects of a low dose of LSD on resting-state amygdala functional connectivity
In this double-blind, placebo-controlled study (n=20), a microdose of LSD (13µg) was found to increase and decrease connectivity in various areas of the brain. One of these effects correlated positively with mood increases, but overall mood changes were variable.
