Psychedelic research is going from strength to strength. With roughly 50 psychedelic research papers published every month and the abundance of start-ups looking to turn psychedelics into viable therapy options – we’ve come a long from the handful of papers published each year in the early 2010s.

Next to the publications, a vast amount of clinical research on psychedelics is now taking place across the globe. All these publications and clinical trials can be hard to keep track of – but don’t worry, we’re here to help.

With the help of the Synthesis Institute – and together with our friends at the University of Lisbon – we here at Blossom have been working to bring you the world’s first Atlas of Psychedelic Research.

What you’ll find in the Atlas

The Atlas of Psychedelic Research is a tool designed for anyone interested in psychedelic research. As you navigate the globe – find out where psychedelic research is taking place, what institutions are involved, and the researchers leading these efforts.

In the Atlas, we’ve included some of the most exciting research currently taking place, some of the most publications over the past years and research taking place in unexpected locations.

For example, did you know that research with ketamine is taking place in China or that Revive Therapeutics has partnered with the University of Health Sciences Antigua?

If you’re planning to start a research project with mescaline and unsure if others have worked with the compound before – simply search by a compound.

You can also search by the research phase, the lead investigator’s name or the disorder under investigation.

Once you’ve found what you’re looking for on the map – you’ll find a brief summary of the research, those involved and a more technical description.

The Atlas needs your help

We have included over 100 research projects in the Atlas. However, with so many new publications and clinical trial announcements, some likely slipped under our radar undetected.

That is why we’ve added a feature for you to “List New Project.” If you’re a researcher – feel free to use this feature, fill out the form, and someone from our team will ensure that your work is added to the Atlas.
