Gerhard Gründer is Professor of Psychiatry and Head of the Department for Molecular Neuroimaging at the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, Germany. His main research interests are the neurobiochemistry of mental disorders and clinical psychopharmacology. His research methods include functional imaging methods such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI).
He is the Principal Investigator in the EPIsoDE study (Psilocybin Depression Study).
