Daniel Carcillo is the founder and CEO at Wesana Health. Daniel is a two-time Stanley Cup and played in the NHL for nine years. As a result of injuries incurred over his playing career, and subsequent healing with psilocybin, Daniel has become an advocate for athletic, veteran, first responder, TBI and mental health communities.
CV of Daniel Carcillo
Daniel retired at the age of 30 due to repeated concussions (Post-Concussion Syndrome) for which he could not find any treatment. In a final attempt to find something that worked, he tried a variety of fungi-based treatments, of which he attributes his experience with psilocybin-containing mushrooms to be the thing that worked. Next to feeling better, his brain scans also were significantly improved.
He also serves on the board of the Heroic Hearts Project.
