Chris Koddermann is the Founder and Managing Director of CURA Communications, a communications firm built for clients in the psychedelics sector. He is a communications and public affairs professional with over two decades of experience in politics and senior corporate roles. Chris is also the co-founder and chair of the board of the International Therapeutic Psilocybin Rescheduling Initiative. This international coalition aims to reschedule psilocybin under the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances.
Chris brings a wealth of experience to CURA Communications and is dedicated to supporting clients as they help write the next chapter in the story of psychedelics. He is passionate about advancing the development of psychedelic medicines as treatment options for patients in need.
Prior to launching CURA Communications, Chris founded and led Koddermann Public Affairs, a Swiss-based government affairs, public policy, and communications consultancy that served EU, UK, and U.S.-based clients operating in complex, highly regulated, multi-stakeholder industries. He also held senior global government affairs and communications leadership roles at ABB Ltd. and Philip Morris International.
Chris has a deep understanding of and network of contacts within EU Institutions in Brussels as well as the Geneva-based ecosystem of UN institutions and Member State Permanent Missions that have become critical drivers of global regulatory agendas. He has international experience spanning over 40 countries and holds a master’s degree in international business law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick, and is licensed as an attorney in New York State.
