Psychedelic Science at Berkeley

Introduction to Psychedelic Science at Berkeley is a student-run class that offers a comprehensive overview of the current state of psychedelic research and its applications. The class features guest speaker talks from leading experts in the field, covering a range of topics, including the modern western history of psychedelic drugs, psychedelic rituals and shamanism, the neuroscientific basis and modern research applications of psychedelics, the state of research today and ongoing studies, qualitative psychedelic research, the war on drugs and the need to reframe the psychedelic renaissance, the numinous world of sacred plants, awe and mystical experience, psychedelics and capitalism, modern activism, policy reform, and organizations paving the way, and introduction to therapeutic ketamine.

Each video covers a different topic, with speakers sharing their insights, research and experience in a clear and engaging way. This class is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the current state of psychedelic research, and the potential therapeutic applications of psychedelics.
