Mending Mindcelium’s Facilitator Training Program is a comprehensive training program designed to educate and prepare individuals to become safe and successful facilitators in psilocybin-assisted therapy. The program is designed to establish an inclusive and inspired learning atmosphere for participants to integrate the skills necessary to be a successful facilitator. The training program includes a hybrid of in-person and online classes, as well as some asynchronous study, and is set to host its first cohort in January of 2024 pending HECC approval.
The program’s core training will be delivered through a combination of in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous sessions, over the course of 14 weeks. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and practice facilitation skills and will successfully demonstrate competency in creating a comfortable setting for their client during a psilocybin administration. The program will also cover the history, foundational knowledge, and tools needed to become a safe and successful facilitator.
Following the completion of Core Training, prospective facilitators will take a cumulative exam, designed to assess competency and integrated understanding of material covered throughout the program. Practicum hours will be completed over the remaining two weeks of the training program.
