This one-day training retreat is designed for licensed mental health professionals looking to expand their knowledge and experience with KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy). The program is approved by CIIS and fulfils the CPTR Applied Learning Objective.
The day will start with an opening ceremony and introductions, followed by a guided meditation to set the tone for the day. Participants will then receive preparation for the medicine session and have a chance to ask questions. The medicine session, using ketamine lozenges, will take place at the start of the afternoon and will be followed by a light lunch. The rest of the afternoon will include opportunities for personal reflection, group integration, and discussion on emerging KAP developments, ethics in psychedelic medicine, and other practice considerations. The day will end with a closing circle and the opportunity for participants to network and share dinner for the evening.
The retreat will be facilitated by Karen Scott MD, and Bhavya Rajanna MD.
