Blossom Update – November 2022

October has been a great month for sitting down and completing some work. The first visualisation is live (covering clinical trials), and the second is in draft mode. You can see them both on the scope page.

I’ve also laid the groundwork for many other projects, which I will list below in the November plans.

Next, I’ve been thinking more about what projects fit with Blossom but are also monetizable. This could include things like courses (using the materials we’ve already made here), more materials behind the paywall (e.g. summaries of all papers), and other specific databases (e.g. where companies & researchers can get GMP-grade psychedelics).

Now, onto the milestones for October 2022:

• Published first visualisation page
• Drafted the second one
• Updated research papers database to reflect new parameters
• Laid the ground work for some of the projects below

November 2022 Blossom Plans

November will be another month of continued building. The dynamic (read: automatically updated when new data gets entered on Blossom) visualisations are something I feel comfortable making and am collaborating with researchers on.

I’m also working with two volunteers who are helping shape two other aspects of the database, more on this when we have something to show.

The summaries of the research papers are coming together nicely. I’m using an AI system to help summarize, but it does take quite a bit of human editing to get things right.

I don’t know what next project will take prominence, so either a specialised database or the beginnings of a course will be up next.

Now, onto the milestones for November 2022:

• Publish second visualisation page
• Publish a report we’ve done earlier that can now be released (still waiting for feedback)
• Make more content for paying members (e.g. summaries of papers)
• Publish the first draft of the course or specific database (e.g. GMP producers)
• Continue with our regular daily updates and 3x per week blogs
