This is the fifth edition of the Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research organised by the OPEN Foundation. ICPR 2022 is an academic conference focused on high-quality scientific and scholarly research into psychedelics.

Many academic disciplines have important contributions to make within the field of psychedelic studies. ICPR aims to bridge and connect these disciplines, and facilitate a dialogue between the diverse academic fields and researchers involved in the study of psychedelics.

Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research 2022 Information

“The Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research is returning for its fifth edition on September 21nd-24th, 2022 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. ICPR continues to be the pioneering and leading conference on psychedelic research and therapies in Europe, with a focus on science, therapy and critical perspectives. It is organised by the OPEN Foundation, which has been advancing psychedelic research and therapies since 2007.

Confirmed speakers are Paul Stamets, Katrin Preller, David Nutt, Amanda Feilding, Roland Griffiths, Kim Kuypers, Rick Doblin, Janis Phelps, David Nichols, Monnica Williams, Peter Gasser, Friederike Holze, Mendel Kaelen, Erika Dyck, Matthias Liechti, and Bernardo Kastrup – with many more to follow. 

ICPR 2022 features world-leading experts from many academic disciplines, including psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, anthropology, ethnobotany, and philosophy who come together to give a scientific conference for academics, therapists, researchers, clinicians, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and members of the public.

In addition to almost 100 speakers from interdisciplinary backgrounds, ICPR 2022 will include panel discussions, workshops, symposia, film screenings, and opportunities to meet and connect. Coffee, tea and a healthy vegetarian lunch are also provided! ICPR 2022 will be a platform for showcasing the latest findings in psychedelic science, discussing novel approaches in psychedelic therapy, and reflecting on important issues around ethics, investment, and the hype surrounding psychedelics.

All of this will take place in the beautiful Philharmonie venue, an alluring building in the historic centre of Haarlem, right next door to Amsterdam.
