TrippApp

TripApp is a mobile application designed to reduce the harms associated with the use of psychoactive substances. The app provides users with information about potentially harmful substances, such as those that have been adulterated or are particularly potent.

Additionally, the app helps users find and connect with local harm reduction services and provides information on the legal status of substances in their area. The app was developed by three NGOs: Youth Organisation for Drug Action, Help Not Harm and NEWNet.

“Nowadays, the drug markets are changing so rapidly, that the old ways of drug education are not sufficient anymore. The introduction of a vast number of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), an increase in the role of the internet in the drug trade and the invention of new production methods for certain substances, resulting in their increased potency. That’s are all reasons which made us rethink how we should spread information about these substances.”
